Warning! The initial result, such as Figure S6, will almost certainly have unequal scales for the graduations of the x- and y- axes.

Measurement to find the multiplying factor to equate the scales enables the profile to be re-drawn in correct proportion but, unless by good fortune, not true size (Figure S7). However it is the equivalent of a scale drawing, so it tests whether a sensible profile results. For a given format this multiplying factor will always have the same value.

Superior proportions are obtained by plotting the scattergraph to occupy the whole of an A4-size sheet. Then the [y]p-axis retains the bounds shown in Figure S6 but the [x]p -axis extends, say, from -60 to +110 to obtain the scale view [not 1:1] corresponding to that shown in Figure S7.
