Normally the ESDU software issued as 31/2inch discs known as ESDUpacs are available only by subscription to the appropriate subseries or volume, in this case the "Mechanisms" subseries; volume 3, "Cams". All those cited below can run on IBM PC machines and compatibles under DOS. For each program a specific user-friendly front end is added called a VIEWpac that prompts on the screen for the required input data, provides help facilities and constructs the input file required for the calculation.
