Most of this trimmer's performance requirements are staightforward and already met by existing trimmers and shears. However, available trimmers do not give a smooth curve, and using shears is slow. Also, existing trimmers damage lawns too easily and are not accompanied by clear enough instructions.
Blade parts on existing electric trimmers need to be replaced several times a year. This should not be necessary more than three times.
